A few years after the initial success, the band was renamed after the singer’s red hair to Simply Red. The group after 25 years and 50 million sold records broke up in 2010. The singer, Mick Hucknall two years later, in 2012, published his first solo album titled American Soul, which collected all of his favourite songs.
