Attractions BrusselIf you compare Brussels to other famous cities and capitals in Europe, this might not be the city with the most well-known attractions. But, if you look around you will still find treasures making the city beautiful and giving it a special atmosphere. The most famous attraction, and the attraction making it worth visiting Brussels all by itself is the Grand-Place/Grote Markt. This square has been built in Gothic Style and it is packed with tourists and locals throughout the entire year. The square is also beautiful in the evenings!

Besides this Brussels has several gorgeous churches, among these the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the fifth largest church in the world. In the center you can also find a shopping street with roof above, tempting for those looking for chocolate and other Belgian objects.

Brussels is also the seat of the EU Parliament, so if you are interested you should pay a visit to this important political building. In the same are a beautiful park with museums and a triumphal arc can be found, so no not miss out on the Parc de Cinquantenaire either.
